This neighborhood park was built as part of brownfield re-development housing project with Pawtucket Central Falls Development.  Working with ESM Inc. and Landscape Elements, the contaminated soil was capped and the space rejuvenated as a peaceful sitting area.  The design allocates space for a future connection to the Blackstone Valley Bike Path and a stopping node with bike racks.  Tree removal allows for fishing in a quiet cove of the Blackstone River.  Native plantings soften the neighboring views and provide a sense of scale and serenity. The site-produced boulders are a formidable, yet a natural safety vehicular barrier.  An interpretive sign provides a site connection to past use and the Blackstone river.
