Design services were retained for development of a multi-purpose outdoor courtyard to accommodate both play and classroom activities. The 3,000 square foot area has been conceptually designed with a biomorphic amphitheatre, climbing wall, tricycle track, and hopscotch pad all enclosed with custom fencing. Challenges to the project include development over a roof membrane, access and enclosure, and adjacencies to existing classroom space and residential abutters.
