Overall design improvements at the park were integrated into existing programming at the adjacent Zuccolo Recreation Center. A splash pad spray park was located next to the existing pool and in proximity to play zones and new shade structure. Basketball court was resurfaced and player benches and bleachers were added. A seating/picnic area with large shade trees and grassy glade provide space for a monument to commemorate the late Senator Pastore.
