Home of Providence’s Cal Ripken leagues, this three field complex needed field safety and irrigation improvements.  Scope included re-grading infield to properly surface drain and removing infield “lips” along base paths and outfield edge.   Irrigation repair and system modifications were necessary to take advantage of more efficient equipment. Outfield turf was phrase mowed and seeded with new more resilient turf species.   The infield area was sodded with the same species. New player benches, fence safety capping,  dugout roofs also help to improve player safety while a scoreboard enhances play and an equipment storage building was necessary for better facility management.  Photos courtesy Washington Park Baseball.
