It’s fair to describe the recent Ownership changes at Metacomet Country Club as one of the most controversial golf projects in Rhode Island history.   The course has an almost biblical reputation in Rhode Island for its Donald Ross designed greens.  Tim worked with the previous owners and BETA Engineers in the re-development of the property, maintaining a golf course component.  Multiple concepts were proposed, from keeping only nine original Ross holes, through the development of nine new holes, all while creating safe and functional development frontage.  An important aspect of these studies was how safety influences a transition from a private club to a public access facility.
