Renovating St John’s Park, located along Atwells Avenue in Providence, brought extra scrutiny by the stakeholders.  This parcel had originally been a church, and was turned into a park in the 1960s.  Because the park holds many different neighborhood vendor events, Tim opted to expand the existing plaza space by finding and utilizing the original paver bricks, re-work the car park edge to provide much needed vendor space.  Uplighting was added to the trees to enhance the plaza nighttime ambiance and visibility.  While the project was under construction, relocation of the Verrazzano marker from the downtown Memorial Park was necessary. Tim worked with the contractor, Central Nurseries, to develop a custom footing for the marker using existing on site  granite slabs.
